Dusk Till Dawn--Chapter 2Dusk Till Dawn
"Evening, my young friends!" Facilier greeted them heartily as they sat down at his table. "And who might you be?"
The handsome man smiled and stuck his hand out, which Facilier politely shook. "My name is Eric, and this is my fiance Ariel."
"Ariel." Facilier's tongue lingered on her name, relishing it. "Lovely name. Did you know it means 'Lion of God'?"
Ariel's eyes widened in interest. "No, I didn't." Facilier's breath caught. Oh her voice! It sounded like the ocean waves mixed with the sweet sound of a finger on a wine glass.
"It is indeed a pleasure to meet you, Lioness of God." He took her hand and kissed it, but his lips lingered on her skin a little longer than they should. Her scent was so delicious. She smelled sweetly of the ocean breeze and seaside flowers. He hungered to bite her right then and there, but he controlled himself and took his lips away, winking at

Dr. Facilier chuckled as he flipped the boy's coin into his pocket as he strolled down the street. A little souvenir from his hunt. And quite the hunt it had been. The boy had given him a fair fight when he feasted on him. He had given a good punch to Facilier's face when he paused to take a breath from feeding. It made him bleed, but that was perfectly fine. out as he kept on the lookout. But all the doors were shut tight. The monster
had trapped him inside. His limbs grew weak as he recognized this, but he kept
himself upright and kept walking. There was no time to be faint. He had to find
a way out. Now.
Slowly, he made his way into another
hallway, taking very, very slow steps at a time, his gun at the ready, his ears
straining for the slightest sound. His eyes glanced all around, searching the
eerie shadows, caused by the dull light bulbs, in fear the demon would come out
of one of them
